# Day 1: Reversing Type 2 diabetes with no medication.

I have decided to take full control of my diabetes without any medication. I have not had medication yet and my doctor advised I could be put on medication if my diabetes keeps going up.

My recent check up was last month May 2021 and my glucose level was 52. In December 2020 it was 50. My weight was 81; whilst in 2020 it was 73.

With the Covid 19 and lockdowns, I have been binge eating and more lazy.

I will be documenting my journey here and will be keeping track of my progress as I go here.

Type 2 diabetes is reversible and conquerable and I hope can give hope to many others like me.

My actions for today are:

  • Intermittent fasting: I have started intermittent fasting for the day. I will be eating between only 12 noon and 8pm, no earlier no later.
  • Drinking more water: I have drunk more water in the morning
  • Cauliflower rice dinner: I had this with steamed carrots, lettuce and broccoli
