HbA1c is the average blood glucose (sugar) levels for the last 2 to 3 months. If you have diabetes, an ideal HbA1c level is 48mmol/mol (6.5%) or below. If you're at risk of developing type 2 diabetes, your target HbA1c level should be below 42mmol/mol (6%).
In April, when I went to my doctor my HbA1c was 52mmol/mol.
I started the journey to reduce type 2 diabetes in the first week of June and after 9 weeks , my HbA1c result is 50mmol/mol. So it has not gone up but rather reduced by 2mmol/mol.
This is great indication that the technique is working!
My goal for my next diabetic review in 6 months is to reach below 48mmol/mol.
