This is Day 6 on my journey to reversing my type 2 diabetes. So far I am enjoying it. Yesterday, my activities were as follows
What I did yesterday:
- Intermittent fasting: I continued my intermittent fasting as I have been doing all the other days; hence eating between 12 noon and 8pm
- Water: Drank one bottle of water
- Lunch: Home prepared smoothie. I learnt most fruits raise blood glucose, so I will check which fruits are favourable for Type 2 diabetes and only include them in my future smoothies. The fruits I had in my smoothie were pineapple, papaya, cucumber, and banana, and I had milk to mix it.
- Dinner: Brown rice ( friend rice). I love my rice, but I am looking to get rid of brown rice entirely in future when I find more options. I particularly want to avoid rice in general.
- Green tea: I had a cup of hot green tea to wash things down 🙂
Diabetes is a silent killer and I want to take control of my life and get out this menace! There is hope! Keep up the faith 🙂
